This February half term, our brand new and exciting event ‘Thoresby Spring Watch‘ comes to Thoresby Park. Running throughout the half term holiday, Monday 19th-Sunday 25th February, the events gives children the tools and skills to get outdoors and get discovering.
With the emphasis on the ‘first signs of spring’, an booklet which comes with a pack of crayons, will include a number of activities to do at Thoresby; these include becoming a fungi detective, an animal track and sign expert, a game of bird song bingo and the first signs of spring spotter.
The activity booklet and crayons are free, although a donation would greatly be appreciated to help the ongoing development of the new Thoresby Park children’s playground and the opening of the spectacular Walled Garden which was built in 1760.
Kids can also collect materials along their way to help fill a fantastic bug hotel which can be purchased from the Visitor Centre.
Thoresby encourages plenty of play and lots of discovering, so let your families and friends know about Thoresby Spring Watch- fun for all ages!
