And that’s wrap!

What a weekend it has been for Thoresby, with Oddsocks Productions bringing us a hilarious adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, performing on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The scarecrow FINALLY managed to find a brain, the lion some courage and the tin man a heart, although they did have them all along! And the audience, they sniffed out the ice cream from miles away!

We look forward to Oddsocks coming to Thoresby every year, in the summer months and the winter months. Does anyone remember how hot it was when Oddsocks came in June to perform Romeo and Juliet? We’ll be hearing soon about when they’ll be back and with what show, so please stay tuned!

And now its snowing at Thoresby, as Oddsocks break down their staging, turn off the lights, load up the van, hop on the road and head towards their next show at the Queen’s Hall Arts Theatre in Hexham!

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the weekend, it’s been lots of fun and we can’t wait to see you all again in the new year. If you do have a moment, please head over to our Facebook page and leave a review!
