Thoresby’s museum, The Queen’s Royal Lancers and the Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum will close for Winter months as of 30th November.

The museum, which displays the historic collections of The Queen’s Royal Lancers, the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry and the South Nottinghamshire Hussars and tells the human, social and military history of the Regiments, as well as the ongoing story of the British Army today, closes in the Winter months between 30th November and 1st March.

Visitors are able to book in for private tours of the museum which take place on a Thursday, by calling 01623 824222

The QRLNY museum will re-open on 1st March and resume normal opening hours which are Wednesday to Sunday, 10.30am-4.30pm
