At Thoresby Park we have 2.5km signposted circular walk around our estate that’s accessible to all. Wheelchair and pushchair friendly, the walk takes up to an hour…depending on your pace!  Our circular walk takes in the sights and sounds of the estate including the lovely River Meden and St John’s Church in Perlethorpe.

There are marked opportunities to get off the beaten track and follow trails, look out for some of the ancient oaks and abundance of wildlife in the forest.

Visitors are welcome to play on the lawns and explore our beautiful park. Picnics are permitted, please remember to leave the park as found and take rubbish away with you.

Footpath maps are available at the Thoresby Visitors Centre to purchase at 50p each, of which all monies go straight back into the running of the Charitable Trust that runs Thoresby Park.

Want to turn a walk into a workout? Why not try Nordic Walking and get fitter whilst making friends at the same time!
