Thoresby’s Historical Bazaar
Saturday 19th-Sunday 20th May 2018
This event will take place on Thoresby Lawns and have fringe events in the Courtyard area and link with the Queens Royal Lancers Military Museum for tours. Please also visit The Pierrepont Gallery and take a look at paintings by Marie-Louise Roosevelt Pierrepont who captures Thoresby’s war effort during WWII
The Historical Bazaar will bring together over 1000 years of history in one weekend, from Romans to the Cold War and everything in between, the weekend is a celebration of Nottinghamshire’s heritage.
Activities and entertainments can be found all around the site, along with a bustling market area selling a variety of historically themed items, locally made crafts, vintage clothing, and militaria. A full arena programme will also be available.

- Marvel at the skills of the royal falconers
- Take a look at a variety of historical vehicles on display

The mini food market will have a whole host of options to tempt the taste buds and provide edible delights for a variety of wants and requirements.

Please note during this event the entire park area will be used for the bazaar. Admission fees are payable upon entry to the park. Car parking remains free for all including courtyard visitors who should follow event parking signs and walk down to the courtyard.
